LIVING DESERT

Yesterday the Mehaffey Family, Tia Riley & Holly went to the The Living Desert! We had such a great time...I definitely underestimated how much fun we would have there. It wasn't expensive at all compared to the Wild Animal Parks and Zoos near by. AND if you have AAA you get an additional discount!

Madison LOVES animals of all kinds, so when we go out on family outings we try and go every so often to places like zoos and animal parks and the Living Desert was perfect for that. I almost want to say it's better than the Wild Animal Park when you have to compare the bang for your buck.

I took A LOT of pictures to share and Vlog video...make sure you watch! :)

As creepy as the snakes are Madison and Bryce loves looking at the reptile exhibit.

This was the Pacific Diamond Back Rattlesnake. SCARY!

Giraffes are so pretty and for a few bucks you can feed them. We wanted to, but the line was tooooooo long for little people to wait and have patience.

Holly's first ride on a Wart Hog!

Wart Hog rides are so much fun...especially with you brother.

Jer loves taking Madison to look at animals and share in these experiences with her...she definitely Daddy's girl.

Taking a little break on the hog.

Madison was saying he was so nice and soft and kept petting him.

She also said that about the goat too!

Cheetah Power!

He loves his little Girl... :)

Turtle den.

They had a beautiful carousel full of different animals to ride...Madison picked the hummingbird and wasn't quite sure how the ride was going to go.

Towards the end of the visit the kids got to experience their first camel ride with Tia Riley while I held baby Holly.

I love seeing how Madison experiences new things!

AND I love how Bryce is such a good big brother to his Sissy.

Bryce said this was a "Holly Selfie"!

The "Me-Heckies" conquered The Living Desert, and I will definitely be taking them back again...until next time.

If you have a free day and are looking for something to do with you fam around the Palm Springs area, try The Living Desert it will not disappoint!
