PICNICS & BONFIRES

Happy Columbus Day family & friends!!!

There's no school today so the kids are having a slow morning of breakfast, cartoons and playing toys.

This past weekend made for lots of memory making...

Jer & I attended a wedding, we had a picnic by the pond and ended the weekend with an evening bonfire.

I captioned this picture on instagram with, "We don't get dressed up very often."

The last time I wore a dress was my Sister's wedding, which was over a year ago, ha!

The wedding was for a friend and coworker of Jarret's, also Bryce's baseball coach this past season.

It was set in a beautiful rock-barn in the Ozark hills which was painted in fall colors.
It was a special ceremony and we were honored to be invited.

Speaking of Fall colors did you see this past weekend's Hallmark movie?!?

This was a sequel to last year's All of My Heart and I loved it!

I just love all of the Hallmark movies this year.

Lately Maddie has been into wearing "charm" necklaces...

This one involved hay string, her "amulet" and Shopkin charms.

Lately Naomi rides the scooter in the hay barn and...

Maddie runs.

Maddie loves to run!😊

One of the kids' favorite things to do is to have a picnic by the pond.

I usually barbecue something up at the house and then pack it to eat down at the picnic table.

Cheese burgers & chips.

We had some visitors!

The trees are starting to change down here by the pond.

I never get tired of this view...

Sunday evening we had a bonfire by the house.

The kids have been asking if we could roast marshmallows and I new the perfect fire pit we could use...

We sat, talked, asked the kids hypothetical questions, listened to music and watched the kids play.

Here's to lots more bonfires & s'mores!

Have a great week,
