With in the first week of January, I like to write out my goals for the year. I always do personal, professional and homeschool. These are the areas in my life that impact my day the most.

I always write my goals for the year on a 4 x 6 post it pad, that’s super sticky, and put it in the inside of my planner so when I open my planner everyday I can see them.

This year I wrote out my Goals for the year and then pulled my goals for 2013 and compared the two to see the growth I have made.

Here are some of my goals for the year:

enjoy the moments
take deep breaths
trust your gut
Do it wholeheartedly or not at all!
let your humor and goofiness shine through more
say kind things about yourself and others

continue to grow and have a successful calf and heifer program
believe in what you know
cont. to grow my blog- mind your blog and it will mind you
post content that is true to you and what you love

be patient, loving and kind.
Go with the flow and work on weaknesses
approach everyday with a good positive attitude
read more.

I usually read these goals over and over through out the month as a reminder of my goals. When I was reading my goals for 2013, it felt like I just wrote them out. This year came and went so fast that you really need to stop and enjoy the little moments even if your kids are screaming, yelling and fighting with each other because they are going to be big before I know it.

I don’t know if you noticed, but I didn’t have a tab for “parenting” because I am going to try something different this year and I will share more with you later on what that is.

You wonder why this picture has anything to do with new years goals? Well I was trying to leave my parents house and they both weren’t listening, she wanted to sit and hold Scruffy.  Instead of picking her up and putting her in the car, I stopped and got my camera to capture this moment with her favorite furry friend. She loves that dog!

Stop and enjoy those little moments!

Have a Great weekend and I would love to hear some of your goals!
