Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bread – Fall is here and one of the most exciting things is the start of the baking season!
When I think of fall baking I think of bread, banana bread, pumpkin bread, zucchini bread…hmmm, give me all the bread.
This isn’t my own recipe for chocolate chip zucchini bread because there’re so many recipes out there. I did put a fun twist on the bread by baking them in a Wilton’s Silicone Fall pumpkin and leaf molded tray though.
I love picking up a little piece of bread in the shape of a pumpkin or leaf and enjoying with a cup of coffee…so good!
The recipe I used is here Zucchini Bread.
Preheat your oven to 350°F
Here are your ingredients.
- 3 cups grated fresh zucchini
- 2/3 cup melted unsalted butter
- 1 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- Pinch salt
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup walnuts (optional)
In a large bowl combine the sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
Stir in the grated zucchini and then the melted butter.
In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt.
Stir the dry ingredients into the zucchini mixture. Now add in your extras ( walnuts and chocolate chips).

Now I added a cup of chopped walnuts and ½ cup chocolate chips.
Here are all the extras stirred in.
Make sure to spray the bottom and sides of pan/mold with Pam spray.
You can see some are higher than the others but ideally you want them about 3/4’s of the way full.
Bake according to the directions or until a toothpick comes out with no batter on it.
So cute and delicious!!!
