Hey y’all!

This morning we did our annual drop off the Santa letters at the special mailbox inside our local Post Office.

The kids look forward to this little tradition every year and I also included last year’s picture to show you how much the kiddos have grown.

Every year it is always so cold outside that we jump out of the warm car, run up the ramp, drop the letter in the box, take the picture and then run back into our toasty warm car.

Here’s last year’s picture, look at everyone’s baby-face!

We crossed over and got an artificial tree this year…

One main reason being a fire hazard, since we have wood-fire heat!

At Jarret’s work they were all telling him about the dangers etc. and so this was the year and I’m not gonna lie…I kind of felt like a trader…a Christmas tree trader…

It really is so pretty and it was very easy to set up!

This particular tree came with 8 different light combinations and yes there are no ornaments on the tree right now and might possibly stay that way, we will see.

The girls like when the tree is lit with colored lights!

This past week my Tia Rocky (Aunt) was out visiting from California.

This was her holiday visit and spoiled us all with early Christmas presents and a helping hand in the kitchen.

Bryce got a new r.c. car for Christmas from Tia, which he lovessss!!!

Naomi had an ophthalmology appointment during the week, so she got to accompany Tia & I to the mall and rode a cute submarine too!

This was a beautiful Christmas tree that was all decorated up in the medical building her eye doctor is in.

We braked for a sunshine walk. 🌞

School bus drop off

New winter PJs.

Bad Moms 2.

Bryce & Jer cut so much fire wood for the wood stove and they made sure we were all toasty warm.

Bryce is such a big guy!

Look at all that wood…

Our town had their annual Christmas Parade and the kids loved it.

All ready and festive with their headbands.

Advent Calendar tradition!

And if you’d like to see how our beds stay so cozy & warm while it is so chilly outside, check out my last year’s post where I share our Winter Cozy Beds!!!

Another Show I’m loving, besides all the Hallmark Christmas movies is, Food Network’s Christmas Cookie Challenge.

Ree Drummond is one of the judges this year but even more than that, I just love all the creativity and the different flavor combinations that I wouldn’t think of!

I wish I could decorate Christmas cookies like a boss!?!

Alright talk to you all soon, hopefully sooner than later and not such a long span like this last stretch! 😊

Uncle Bob would never allow us to have a cut tree. As the son of a firefighter, he refused to have a cut tree – we always had a "faux tree", as his dad had been to so many fires started by dry trees in the house. It just becomes part of the traditions for the family. Merry Christmas! Love and hugs to you all.
