Hey there! Today I wanted to share an easy Caramel Apple Cream Cheese Dip with you all. This recipe would be perfect as an appetizer at your Thanksgiving get together or a great recipe for a potluck style party. It only requires a few ingredients and my whole family loved it!
When I’m in the process of making a recipe that I intend to share on my blog it takes a little longer to make because I have to stop and take pictures, mid-prep or cooking…well the girls were having the hardest time being patient for this one!!! What’s nice about this recipe is you can change out the peanuts for toffee pieces or even small pieces of candy and you can change out the apples slices for wheat thins. This recipe is very versatile!
My one suggestion is that this recipe needs to be consumed right after you make it or right before you are going to your party.
Here are the ingredients you will need:
8oz. package of cream cheese (room temp)
1 container old fashioned caramel dip
1/3 cup chopped dry roasted peanuts + more for garnish
4 granny smith apples
Start by flattening out your cream cheese in the bottom of your bowl.
Add in a ½ cup caramel dip and stir until incorporated.
Now stir in your 1/3 cup chopped peanuts. (This is where you could sub for toffee bits for peanuts, etc.)
At this point get your serving dish reading by placing a bowl in the middle and arranging your washed and sliced apples around the plate.
You can also have wheat thins on the tray if you’d prefer that too.
Now transfer your caramel apple cream cheese dip to your bowl, spread another ½ cup of caramel on the top and sprinkle with a little more chopped nuts for garnish!
There you have it, an easy recipe to have at your next get together!
Now the girls were finally able to enjoy this yummy spread!
Have a great day and let me know what your favorite caramel apple topping is?!
