Hey y’all, Happy Wednesday! Today’s post is on Life Lately and you know this is one of my favorite style post to read and publish.
We are 13 days away from Christmas, we need to get our butts in gear, huh🎅!!! I need to wrap presents, I need to finish some last minute shopping and get a few presents sent out and in the mail.
Ok, let’s get right into it…
First random picture
I love-love-love a sunshine walk. A sunshine walk is a term I heard along time ago when I use to do payroll for a small business that we lived by. One of the main employees would go outside on her lunch break and she would always say, “alright, I’ll be back, I’m going to take my sunshine walk…” and that term has always stuck with me.
So now days, I’ll take a break from life’s duties and go on a 30 minute sunshine walk around the neighborhood. It gives you a little boost and a chance to clear your mind.
Second Random Picture
This picture was obviously taken at a Christmas tree stand in Southern California. When I look at this picture I see a few things: one how little my Bryce-Boy was, how young we looked and little did we know what the next 10 years would bring…
It reminds me that so-so-sooo much can happen in 10 years, and even more so, soooo much can happen in just a year! Happy times and sad times…
Toy Advent Calendars
This year we decided to start a tradition with toy advent calendars for the kids and they love them!!!
Every day I document them opening there calendars and post it on my instagram stories. If you are not following me you should!
Maddie has a Hatchimals advent calendar…
Bryce has a Lego one…
and Naomi has a Little People’s one!
They look forward to this everyday when they come home from school and if you are looking for suggestions for next year…buy them early so you can get the ones you want!
Bass Pro Shop – Santa’s Wonderland
Every year since we’ve moved to Missouri, we always take the kids to Bass Pro Shop during Christmas time, they decorate and have a lot of free and fun things for the kids to do inside their store. There is just so much to look at in general! Since we are in South West Missouri, this Bass Pro Shop is their headquarters so it’s HUGE and the Wonders of Wildlife is here.
Mommy and kids by Christmas tree.
As soon as you walk in the front doors this is what it looks like!
Love the rustic-cabin feel.
In the Santa’s Wonderland area they have free games set up for the kids and of course we had to play them.
After we did all the games, we checked out the boats!
Bryce said he’ll take this as his Christmas present!
Then the kids rode the carousel many-many times and always chose different animals to ride.
After they had enough with the carousel we decided to explore the rest of the store!
When I asked the kids to turn for a picture, Bryce yelled, “Run”!
They thought they were so funny running up the escalator from me.
Isn’t that elk cool with the big wreath around it’s neck…
Maddie said she wants one of these chairs for Christmas so she can just relax.
Naomi said she want this for Christmas!
Ok kids, Mom’s on it.
Boat for Bryce, camping chair for Maddie and a four-wheeler for Naomi…
We always end the tour by looking at the turtles.🐢
That’s it for Life Lately this week, I hope you all stay tuned in and have a great day!
