Build A Bear Workshop | Holiday Collection

The girls have been waiting soooo long to go to Build A Bear Workshop! I’ve been telling them since summer that after Thanksgiving we will take you to Build A Bear. I wanted it to be something special, something that kicked off the Christmas season.

Also, Build A Bear is not cheap by any means, it’s a special occasion kind of place in my opinion! But I think the whole process is fun for the girls and I like that they even have stuffed animals geared towards boys. This was Madison’s second time going to Build A Bear and Naomi’s first time, (click here to see Maddie’s first time at Build A Bear)

Build A Bear Lego Scene

The morning of us going to Build A Bear, Maddie built a Lego scene of her & Naomi at Build A Bear Workshop. I think it turned out great and she loves to build “scenes” out of her Legos, no one helped her, this was all her!

Build A Bear

Almost there!

We finally made it, the anticipation was killing the girls all morning!!!

Before we went, we looked online at their website to see what the special collection was that came from the North Pole. I wanted them to have an idea of what they wanted before we went.

Maddie right away wanted Minty the Bunny and Naomi wanted Twinkle the Reindeer, perfect, done!

As soon as we got there we found them!

And now the process starts, you start at the stuffing Machine!

This is where you name your new special pets and of course the girls chose to keep the same names they came with Minty & Twinkle!

You have to step on the pedal to make the machine fill the animal!

Now Maddie’s turn!

She was asking Maddie if she’d been here before!

Maddie and her special bunny “Minty”!

This is one of Maddie’s favorite places because she l-o-v-e-s stuffed animals!!!

Now this is where you make your special pledge to take care and love your animals!

Since it was the holiday collection, they got to pick a cute peppermint-style heart to place in their animal!

The girls were eat’n this up!

Naomi and her special Reindeer “Twinkle”!

Now you take them to the “bathing” area. It’s basically blow dryers and you brush them to get any loose fur off and make them nice and fluffy.

Bryce was running the blow dryer machine for the girls.

All fluffy and new!

Those are two happy girls with two expensive stuffed animals, haha, but it was all worth it to see the excitement and joy in their eyes!

Until next time Build A Bear…
