PLANNER I’M USING FOR 2019

Hey everyone! How are you doing today? Today I wanted to share with you all the Planner I’m Using for 2019 and why I choose this one instead of my usual Erin Condren planner.

For the past 5 years I’ve always used an Erin Condren planner and would just re-order a new one when it was time. I never really looked at any other planners on the market until one day when my Mom and I went to Michael’s. They had a big display for The Happy Planner and all the accessories that you can add to it. One of the things that drew me to their planners is that they are more affordable than the Erin Condren, I liked the layout as well and you can use your Michael’s coupon on these items!

I will say, the one thing I wasn’t that excited about is the choice of cover options you have when buying a planner at Michael’s.

Okay, here she is, my 2019 planner by me & my BIG ideas!

The reason why I picked this particular one is because I wanted the vertical-hourly layout.

Over the past few months I’ve been doing more time-block planning, hence why I wanted the hourly.

Here it is with the tag taken off!

I mean, I don’t hate the saying, I usually like something a little more inspirational on the cover of my planner.

Here’s the very first page of the planner when you open it.

I do like all the water color though!

This is what the start of every month looks like. On the left hand side you have this page where you can write some goals for the month, notes, maybe some birthdays you need to remember and on the right, you have an inspirational saying (different one for every month).

This is the last page of the month, where it says, write it down and on the right is where I purchased a separate Fitness Edition extension.

This year, I want to track my fitness better by planning out my workouts in advance, charting my food for the week and keeping track of my water intake!

Here’s what the end of every month looks like in the Fitness Edition.

I like how it gives you a chance to reflect on the past month, good or bad and an area for you to put progress pictures.

The beginning of every new month has a new fitness picture with a new inspirational saying.

These are the only two accessories I bought from Michael’s at the time of purchasing my planner. It’s a weekly note insert and on the back it’s blank with grid dots, I plan on using this insert to meal plan our dinners for the week and write a grocery list on the back. The other thing is a little sticker pad that is made to fit in those top squares above the hourly portion, the theme is “make things happen”. I didn’t want to get too many accessories and get distracted by all the extras, that easy to do! 😊

Okay so that is my Planner I’m using for 2019, The Happy Planner!

In a future post I’m going to share How I Plan and Organize my Life with Kids.
