Today, March 8th is Naomi’s 3-year “gotcha” day anniversary!
Gotcha day in adoption terms means the day we got her. The day she came to be with her forever family!
To be completely honest, it seems like she’s been with us for longer than 3 years and it’s hard to remember what it was like to be a mom of just two kids.
The picture on the left was taken the day after she came to us, so March 9th, 2016 and on the right was Fall of 2018!
Naomi is now in Kindergarten and played soccer, her first organized sport this past Fall.
She is a big help to me, always there to help Maddie in any way she can and you can count on her and Bryce bugging each other, lol! #siblings Can’t live with them, can’t live without them.
Naomi loves to draw and color…
Naomi still loves to do puzzles!
Naomi loves to play with her Kinetic sand in the winter time, basically anything to keep her hands busy!
Naomi loves to play dress-up and…
loves to be silly!
Naomi is an outside girl…
give her all the sun and sand!
We are an outside family, she fits right in and is up for any adventure!
As Naomi has grown, she has learned how to be a sister, to a sibling with Autism.
It is not easy being a sister to someone with special needs, but she never complains and acts a lot like the big sister Maddie needs at times.
Here’s to another year of Naomi being apart of our family and I can’t wait to see what this year brings!
