Football, Gymnastics & Kayaking

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday!

Last night was a late night for us, we didn’t get home till 10 p.m….way past our bedtime! Bryce had a football game last night and the girls were troopers. They had lots of fun playing, running around, playing ipads, cards and getting to eat lots of snacks.

I wanted to hop on here really quick this morning to share some pictures from last, last weekend before it gets too late.

This past weekend was filled with studying and school work because I had a BIG test on Monday morning that I was very nervous for. Needless to say, I’m glad it’s over and done!

Ok so, two weekends ago we had an early morning football scrimmage, gymnastics and then we kayaked in the afternoon. We squeezed it all into a Saturday because Sunday was filled with church, groceries and school work.

Saturday Scrimmage, you can still see the dew on the grass.

Bryce is in the middle playing center.

This is the first year Bryce has put this much effort out towards football and it has made all the difference.

Since the scrimmage started at 8am, someone brought 5 boxes of donuts for the families and as you can see the girls loved it!

We had a little break, then it was off to gymnastics!

This is Naomi’s first time trying gymnastics and she is so motivated and has been pumped for this class to start. We tried soccer last Fall and it wasn’t the right fit, so we are trying gymnastics and probably dance in the Spring.

We are doing it through our local community center, which is awesome by the way and I love her instructor because she was also the girls’ private swim instructor too!

Then we had another little break and it was off to kayaking…

Let me just say, I love kayaking!!! It is so much fun, peaceful and my way of relaxing.

We went somewhere local, rented 3 kayaking and we were off!

Both girls wanted to go with Mom so we took turns, first Naomi and then halfway through we traded girls.

Bryce is big enough for his own kayak now since he is 13!

There goes Jarret and Maddie.

We stopped under a bridge to enjoy the shade and take a little break.

This will be so pretty when all the leaves start changing colors!

Making our way back.

Oh hi – it’s me, proof I was actually here this weekend if I don’t take a selfie than there would be no pictures of Mom, lol!

Alright, time to get the troops up, talk to ya soon…
