I’m back with another post, can you believe that?
How are you all doing? I know we are halfway through October but I don’t want to get too far down the road without sharing back to school pictures and Bryce & Naomi’s birthdays. Which were in August and September!
This week is our fall break from school (both mine and the kids) and we needed it. I finished my first block of 8 weeks and my second block starts Monday, brain break was needed.
A few of these pictures are randoms I found on my phone that I wanted to share.
On this day we went for an evening walk around the neighborhood and the sunset was so orange it was worth sharing.
Another summer evening and the kids playing on the disk swing.
On days the kids don’t go to school because of corona/covid home learning, we go for walks/ride bikes and stop at the parks to play.
Okay, this was the first day of school for Bryce, Madison, and Naomi. We waited with them at their bus stops.
Bryce was all ready for the first day of 8th grade!
Maddie going to 5th grade! She gets picked up and dropped off in front of the house because she rides a special needs bus to school. This was after school because the bus showed up earlier than expected and I wasn’t able to snap a before school pic.
First day of 2nd grade for Naomi! She was so excited and anxious, she loves school.
I should state that Madison and Naomi go to different schools this year, that is why they don’t ride the same bus this year.
This year Bryce turned 14 years old!!!
It seems so unoriginal to say but, it really goes by so fast and it’s only 4 more years until he’s 18, what?
I always ask the kids what they want to eat for the birthday and what do they want their dessert/cake to be. Bryce wanted homemade lemon-coconut bars for his bday and that is what he got!
His requests were gift cards and money, which I would say is pretty typical for teenage boys.
Naomi turned 8 years old this year! She is growing up to be such a good and smart young lady.
This was Naomi before we left for the bus stop.
Naomi’s request was a white cake with her name written on it, and that is what she got!
If you don’t know it by now, she LOVES art and any sort of art supplies or gifts.
This was the aftermath, the next morning of lots of fun gifts that she shared and played with her sister with.
Alright, I got to get ready and pick up my groceries, we are going camping!
I’ll talk to you soon,
