SPECIAL TIME

Yesterday Madison and I had some great one-on-one time at our local splash pad with my best-friend from high school and her kiddos. What was even more awesome, we had the splash pad and playground to ourselves for quite awhile…it was nice! It made keeping an eye on the kids a lot easier… All of the kids are back in school around here so I am sure that’s what contributed to it not being crowded. Bryce was in school yesterday…

SPIN ‘N SAUCER

When we got home from school, work and speech therapy, I had a surprise for the kids waiting at the front door…they had no idea! The kids have been doing great these past two weeks at school and at home, and I wanted to get them a little treat. My goal was to get them the same thing, and something they could enjoy together.  I saw these ride-on toys over the weekend and thought, these are awesome! Inexpensive, small, won’t…

LOST IN THE JUNGLE

Yesterday was an interesting, family time spent sort of a day?! (That made no sense!) 1. It was super hot and humid beyond belief. 2. With Bryce being homeschooled for the past couple of years I never had to worry about packing him a lunch, except on Fridays when…

FARM LIFE: PIPE-DREAM

As far as I can remember I have always enjoyed being involved with projects that include p.v.c. pipe. Laying it down for sprinklers, repairing broken water trough pipes and in this case creating new water faucets on the farm! My love for this has came from always helping my Dad at home or on the farm with various projects he has going on and getting me involved at a young age. Now I have the opportunity to involve my kids…

ROUGH WEEK

Soooo….this week has been a rough week… I haven’t been bloggin much lately due to a new morning routine and schedule. Usually I blog in the morning when my mind is clear, then I get myself and the kids ready, eat breakfast, then throw a load of laundry in and start homeschool. We have done this for almost 2 1/2 years, and now (with his new homeschool program) we have to be out the door by 7:40 to make it…
