BRYCE AND YARD TOOLS

Bryce can appreciate a good yard tool, and ever since he was little he would want to use them. When he was young he always wanted to carry around a little Black and Decker, battery operated toy yard blower.  He would walk all around the yard pretending he was blowing the leaves, dirt or grass clippings.  He was such a  cutie when he was little (still is…)!   Now he is onto bigger and better things with his Grandpa. TODAY MARKS FOUR YEARS

Today I’m going to keep my blog, short and sweet.  On this day four years ago we experienced the loss of our Son and the loss of our daughter’s twin brother. Four years seems like such a long time, but the pain and sadness at times seems like just yesterday.  Today I don’t want to be sad or depressed, but rather celebrate the days we had with you. AND I know you are with us where every we go in…

A SMALL LAKESHORE HAUL

It’s that time of year again where I start getting ready to go back to school. School will be here before you know it and I like to start planning and purchasing my back to school supplies.  Madison’s birthday was on Saturday and we usually get her things from The Lakeshore Learning store. She absolutely loves the store and anything to do with learning manipulatives. The first thing we picked up for her were these Magna-Tiles, I have been wanting…

THE BIG FOUR

Madison’s little birthday turned out awesome! It was small, fun and the food was great. She received the cutest presents and had a great time playing with her cousins and our friend’s daughter. We also celebrated Jarret and Mahalia’s birthday, which is next week.  Here’s a photo recap… Madison loves her brother so much! Water slide fun! Gazillion bubbles machine is the best! The fam-bam! Tia and Mikey… 🙂 Silly boys… Photo bomber! Family… The most caring and loving Grandparents!…

BIRTHDAY GIRL

Four years ago today marked one of the scariest times in our lives, the birth of our twins. As much as this day is bittersweet, I can’t get over our daughter turning 4 years old today. Sadly our son isn’t here, but I know he is right with Madison watching over her as her guardian angel and will always protects her like big brothers do. Madison is one of the most caring, sensitive, stubborn, beautiful souls inside and out. She…

KEEPING ALL THE BALLS IN THE AIR

Hi guys…can you believe it’s already mid July!!!  Next month we are back to school and then the slippery slope of the holidays rolls in, craziness-right?!?! Today I wanted to talk about trying to keep all the balls in the air, do a good job, be a good wife and still taking care of myself. How long can I keep all the balls in the air going and still do a good job with each one? Will they all fall…

EARLY RISING

This past Wednesday the kids and I headed out around 5:30 a.m. In our house 5:30 is considered pretty normal. At this time the animals are waking up, the birds are starting to chirp, the tractors are warming up…it’s a nice calm before the work storm. I would much rather be up early in the morning and outside working, than being up late at night still working. Call me a grandma…but my whole internal clock is set to early rising,…
