TRICK-OR-TREAT

We had a great Halloween, a little over whelming but overall a good day. In the morning we did school and them we made these really cool spiders.  The instructions said that we just needed regular glue; but that wasn’t cutting it. I had to break out my handy-dandy hot glue gun! He loved it! That was the first time I had let him us the hot glue gun, but he did a great job. Aren’t they cute!? Then in…

PUMPKIN CARVING

We carved a PUMPKIN! Bryce wanted to carve a bat to represent, Batman.  I am not surprised, it always has to do with some type of super-hero! WHERE HAVE WE BEEN?!?!

We went to Utah!!!  The Kids, my Mom and I went for a week! It was so much fun to just have all that free time with the kids. We went quad riding everyday and enjoyed the beautiful fall colors that Utah had to offer. The weather could not of been better! I just needed that one-on-one time with the kids, nature and fresh-air! I did miss The Hubs, but you know what they say absence makes the heart grow…

CANDY CORN AUTUMN MIX FREE MATH WORKSHEETS

I saw this bag of Candy Corn Autumn Mix in the candy section and just had to make it into a math activity. BUT, I want to learn more about making worksheets and lessons for my kids and to share…

FIVE LITTLE PUMPKINS CRAFT

Yesterday we did a follow up craft for the book Five Little Pumpkins. It was fun to bring what we just read into a craft. I think it helped instill a big part of the book onto paper and in his mind. This book is so cute! The illustrations are really great as well!  For the craft project, we used: black construction paper craft sticks (small & regular size) glue pumpkin cutouts  black marker The only instruction that I gave…
