HALLOWEEN / FALL BOOK HAUL

We have added a few new books to our collection over the past week. Brother is starting to read more and I just needed to spruce up our collection. We have a pretty small collection, but it’s slowly growing. These book are all geared towards Halloween or Fall. I purchased them either at Sam’s Club, Target or Michael’s. This book is more Sissy’s speed but Brother enjoyed it as well! This one is also VERY cute! This one is probably…

BROTHER AND SISTER

As the kids are getting older I am noticing a lot of the same mannerisms that my son does, my daughter does as well.  They both have grown so much this year, both maturity and physically. Believe me, they still have there moments, oooohhh do they ever have their moments. But that’s it they are just moments.   I snapped this photo really quick because they were both standing the exact same way watching TV. I thought, gosh are they…

MY WEEKEND!

This past weekend I had the afternoons off, woo-hoo! Also, no one was sick anymore, woo-hoo! I took some random shots through out the weekend and I wanted to share them with-ya. I took these pictures on Friday morning as I was riding around the dairy getting ready to start work. My Dad and Brother were still in Utah, so it…

THE CASE OF THE WINDY WIND STORM!

Here we are feeding calves like every afternoon, hotter than heck, BUT now a storm was coming. Bryce and I kept telling each other, “look it is getting closer!” We though it was going to rain; you could smell  it in the air.  We kept watching and watching as we continued to feed calves and pick up the bottles.    We thought it was going to rain for sure, it’ll be so nice! And then…THIS was coming and it didn’t…

MAJOR SENSORY PLAY DAY AT SCHOOL

This week in school we made oobleck and cloud dough, both recipes are floating around pinterest. My son wasn’t feeling well Wednesday afternoon so I decided to make Thursday our sensory play day. That is one of my goals for this school year is to implement a lot more fun into the mix. Last year was our first year of homeschool, so now we got the hang of things and the “creases are ironed out.” I also have a preschooler…
