JUST A FEW PICS

Today…I am just posting a few pics I snapped with my phone. No recipe, organizing or homeschool pics… Simple day in the life sorta stuff! Here we were checking on how some of the new calves were doing; since we finally got a break in the heat.  She was also pretending to drink the water! You can just see the joy in her eyes watching that little calf drink. NOW…on to the big guy, who is only 6 by the…

EASY HOMEMADE SALSA

Here, I am going to show you how I make homemade salsa. I have learned how to make homemade salsa from watching my Grammy (who’s Mexican, not that it matters) make it my entire life. The basics I have learned from her, but I have made it my own since. In Mexican families everybody makes their salsa’s a little different, some like it hot, more garlic, no onion etc…BUT there is no wrong way to make a salsa. If your…

SIDE YARD AND DRIVEWAY CEMENT PROJECT

We just finished the side yard cement project and extending the driveway to the rv gates. It is SO NICE to have this finally done!  The kids love riding on their scooters, bikes, cars…  Another GREAT thing is now we can pull a vehicle back behind the gates. It also makes you appreciate those little comforts that you miss, (like my keurig coffee maker)! When they are gone I get a little break from work, but not really. I still check on my calves in the morning with the kids…

BEING STRONG

I had to take Madison to a Dr.s’ appointment with her pulmonologist down at Rady’s in San Diego not to long ago and it is always a flood of emotions that I get when we are down there.  From happy, sad, scared, nervous, lonely, grateful, heart-broken…  When I take her, it is always humbling and amazing to see her thriving at where she is today and how she continues to progress everyday.  She is running down the side walks, playing…

HALF WAY TILL CHRISTMAS & A 20 MINUTE ORGANIZATIONAL PROJECT

Today is the half way point until, CHRISTMAS!!! Isn’t that crazy, I feel like I just put my decorations away. Also it’s my sister-in-laws birthday too!   I need to start thinking about what I am going to get the kids for Christmas. I did pretty good having just about all their shopping done before Thanksgiving.  I also want to try and make something this year for all the adults. Alright, enough about Christmas! Yesterday after school in the morning,…
