SWIMMING, WATERING AND EXTREME HEAT

This past weekend we were house sitting for my parents while they were gone up at the house in Utah. I don’t mind house sitting because it recharges you to get little things done at your own house. It also makes you appreciate those little comforts that you miss, (like my keurig coffee maker)! When they are gone I get a little break from work, but not really. BEING STRONG

I had to take Madison to a Dr.s’ appointment with her pulmonologist down at Rady’s in San Diego not to long ago and it is always a flood of emotions that I get when we are down there.  From happy, sad, scared, nervous, lonely, grateful, heart-broken…  When I take her, it is always humbling and amazing to see her thriving at where she is today and how she continues to progress everyday.  She is running down the side walks, playing…

CHECKIN CALVES, FEEDING CALVES & ALOT OF OTHER STUFF…

So today when I got to work, I noticed all the beef calves were up by the water trough to get some water so I slowly walked over there to do a “wellness” check since we have had some sick beef calves recently.  They all looked happy and healthy!  As soon as I took the picture and got a little closer they took off. Then they stopped to see if I was still going to get any closer… Here came…
